MACHA is seeking contributors for a 4-issue zine series dedicated to cooperative living!
Issue #1 will focus on "Cooperative Living 101", with content aimed at educating the community about cooperative housing. (For example: The Rochdale principles, benefits of cooperative living, a map of Madison's housing co-ops, etc.)
The deadline for submission proposals for Issue #1 has passed, but we are still accepting proposals on a rolling basis!
The deadline to turn in final submissions for Issue #1 is Sunday, January 8th.
Zine Basics: The goal is for the zine to be 10 full-size printer pages (8.5 x 11) folded in half. Submissions can take up multiple pages, one half sheet, or a full one-page spread. Submissions can be digital or handmade.
Please take a look at the list of already-approved submissions in the post above before submitting your proposal. This will help us to avoid duplicate submissions on the same topic.
Once you have submitted this application, you will receive a response from a MACHA member within 1 week confirming if your proposal has been approved.

If you have ideas for content that you would like to contribute for future issues, you can submit those as well! See below for an outline of future issues:
Issue #2 will focus on topics that current cooperative housing members will appreciate. (For example: discussions on conflict resolution, favorite co-op recipes, etc.)
Issue #3 is TBD (Ready to be shaped by all of your ideas!)
Issue #4 will focus on the skills and resources needed to found a new cooperative house. (For example, how to fund a new house, how to find land or a property, etc.)
